O.A.R. Concerts at Ford Amphitheater Amid Noise Controversy
Residents near the Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs have escalated their campaign against the venue, filing a lawsuit alleging severe noise violations that impact their health and quality of life. The amphitheater, which accommodates 8,000 attendees and has hosted numerous concerts, including performances by O.A.R., has faced significant backlash since its opening in late 2024. Neighbors have reported over 600 noise complaints within the first two weeks of operation, citing disturbances from various concerts.

The case highlights ongoing tensions between the amphitheater's operations and the community's right to a peaceful living environment.
O.A.R. Colorado Springs Concert reviews
MORE TO VAN MORRISON THAN I EVER THOUGHT
"I went to Las Vegas to hear O.A.R. for my 70th birthday. We are from New Orleans. He has been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Much of what he played was new to me and it was just amazing to actually see and hear him and his band live. I have and know plenty of his songs, and he did some of them at the concert. O.A.R.'s voice is still strong and his musical talents are incredible. It wasn't a warm or homey feeling kind of concert where the headliner talks, tells stories, jokes or sets a mood so that a relationship is established. Seems as though you have to get to know O.A.R. only through his music and that's as much as he wants you to have. He is almost reclusive on stage but, he gives 110% musically. If I could change anything......I wish there was some more time between songs just so I could soak in what I just heard... the familiar songs were played at a faster tempo than I am used to and I wish he talked some. These are very minor changes. During the concert I picked up some Louie Prima style when O.A.R. repeated a chorus, verses, music and created musical words that are like a foreign language. He is coming to New Orleans for the Jazz Fest. I wasn't planning on going but, now, I'm thinking real hard about seeing him again. I know the crowd will be going absolutely wild with anything he plays. It is plenty. In conclusion, I am thrilled to have been at the concert. It was so much more than I thought I knew about O.A.R.'s music."
